Abstract
The proposed device was realized with MOS circuits and is dedicated to appreciate and display the transmission ratio in the case of a car that is equipped with a CVT. This device was required because the authors used a CVT in order to find the best compromises in the range of fixed transmission ratio. Very useful in service workshop to verify the CVT repair quality, or to establish the degree of clutch slipping in the case of mechanical transmission, this device can be coupled with a computer and the transmission ratio will be continuously recorded, as a function of many cars parameters.
