Abstract
In rolling external helicoidal surfaces with two rolls by infeed method, a technologist has to solve two problems: the workpiece dimension and the values of the rolling condition parameters. Together the geometrical precision parameters of the rolls, the workpiece dimension and the adjustment dimension of the technological system, represents the principals factors of the influence of geometrical precision of generate surface.
This paper presents a method for determining of the workpiece dimension and the adjustment dimension of the technological system, based on the constant volume law, on the knowledge of the geometrical characteristicsÂ’ rolls and on the using the modern means of calculation.
