Abstract - A thermal fluid-structure coupled numerical analytical model has been developed with purpose to grasp the pulsating phenomena produced in the inner flow field of a check valve. Various flow cases are analyzed by using the developed numerical analytical model. The unstable phenomena that the check valve generates in the situation of low refrigerant flow are reproduced by setting the virtual condition of the pressure in the refrigerant flow control process. A possibility of understanding the hunting phenomena via the check valve is presented.
