Dynamic optimisation project of CVT powertrain. Variable parameters optimisation of powertrain made up of a CVT and a chain reduction, concerning longitudinal dynamic performance for off-road prototype (Mini-Baja of SAE Student Event). Firstly, mathematical model building on Simulink and its validation by tests: longitudinal dynamic performance, on different adherence roads, measuring speed and powertrain revolution. Secondly, computer optimisation on MatLab with an algorithm which load in the model all possible parameter combinations to obtain comparative results. Then, one last test for verification. The conclusions evaluate the used method considering time, precision and efficiency.
