This paper describes calculation of multi-functional vehicle with parallel-type hybrid power unit: the internal combustion engine with CVT as a front drive and the electic motor as a rear drive. Control system allows vehicle work in 3 different rates:

1. Only electric motor works (RWD) - for low-speed traffic, parking and work in non-ICE zones.

2. Only ICE works (FWD) - for uniform and high-speed traffic, for batteries charge.

3. Works both of motors (AWD) - intensive acceleration and off-road traffic.

This hybrid power unit could be used in the family of low-emissions vehicles of different purpose, such as lift-duty truck (describes in this paper).
