Abstract

Abstract:

As a consequence of increasing environmental consciousness, the use of biomass fuels such as biodiesel, ethanol and DME is desired. The micro gas turbine has the advantages that are compact size, lightweight and lower emissions with multi-fuel capability. As the part of the development of the micro gas turbine that uses biomass fuels, the control system for the liquid-fueled micro gas turbine was developed. The functions of the control system are sequence control, protection control, output shaft speed control, load-torque control. By the test operation, these functions were evaluated, and the objectives of the future research were shown on the basis of the result.
