Abstract

The characteristics of a LPG Liquid Port Injection (LPLI) engine during lean-burn operation are investigated. The LPLI system Emission level which is THC, CO, NOx, is lower than mixer type LPG System. The probability of LPLI system is experimented under lean-burn condition. This system will increase fuel economy, combustion and volumetric efficiency. THCs was reduced averaged 13% on non-thermal plasma and additional 33% reduction recorded with Silver alumina catalyst. NOx emissions showed 40% reduction at all conditions and also 10% more efficiency growth with non thermal plasam reaction.
