Abstract
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is just before production introduction. World-wide technicians, Marketing experts, physiologists, HMI experts and last not least vehicle end user discusses pro and cons of driver assistance systems in case of comfort or safety impact. This short presentation tries to give an overview about the impacts of driver expectations, system layout and philosophy as well as impact to the traffic.
