Abstract

This paper looks at the control of multi-wheeled Combat Support vehicles and how their ride performance can be improved through the application of suitable control strategies. The power consumption of the suspension over rough terrains is determined. The affect that changing the availability of power to different wheel stations has on suspension efficiency is examined.
