Abstract

This paper concerns drift & spin out and rollover preventive system for heavy duty vehicles. The system estimates the control parameter and vehicle dynamic condition, and then controls the brake force distribution for reducing these behavior. The gravity height estimation logic is introduced as one of the parameter estimation methods. By the rollover preventive control, the roll angle at the border condition has been reduced more than 2 degrees and vehicle stability can be maintained inside the stability limit.
