Abstract
The technology of vehicle dynamics simulation has been developed significantly in order to adapt to more practical conditions, as required for marginal conditions such as deceleration during a turn. This paper describes a tire model as an effective method to reproduce tire measurement results using neural networks, and its application to vehicle dynamics under the condition of deceleration in a turn. In the analysis, the same vehicle model which was constructed in ADAMS is used in lateral transient response analysis. The simulation results show satisfactory correspondence with test results, even in such marginal conditions such as decelerating while turning.
