Parameter Adaptive Gain Scheduling Control of an Active Suspension System

Abstract

In this paper a new gain scheduling state feedback controller is proposed for a quarter car active suspension system which is modeled in a linear parameter-varying (LPV) form. And the feedback gain is scheduled by the on-line estimate of the system parameters. This controller guarantees both the robust stability and the induced power norm performance criterion. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
