Abstract
This paper presents important technics and subjects to realize a vehicle controlled for safety in the next generation. The vehicle is operated with some assistance for the driver, taking account of the driver's intent. The control law of the assistance is classified into three types; that is to say, warning and/or advice, assistant control, and dynamic adjusting. No load sensing of the driver's internal state, personal data storage, momentary driver model synthesis and the driver's intent presumption are important subjects for the development of the intent-reflected vehicle.
