Abstract

This project studied cogging torque reduction of 8 poles and 9 slots DC brushless motor by using laminating with rotation of stator core plates. However, the reduction effect for cogging torque was not obtained in the initial motor manufactured by using laminating with rotation of core plates. Because of this we proposed a new analysis method. And by using this method we were able to find out the factor and the countermeasure. This countermeasure made cogging torque 1/2 of conventional cogging torque target.
