Abstract
In this paper, an approach for the development of the ride shake performance on occasion of impact based on the study of effects of suspension parts was presented. Since the detection of the actual ride performance without any loss of physical meaning are the most important thing, the flexibility of body and chassis in the vehicle should be taken into consideration in ride shake simulation. For tire modelling, the F-tire model was used. The comparison with experimental measurements was also presented for validation and correlation of the model. Simulation results for a sports utility vehicle (SUV) were presented and qualified for the improvement of ride shake quality.
