Abstract

In the design of a network control system (NCS), both temporal and functional behaviors of an NCS should be considered in order to meet the desired performance. In conventional approaches for NCS design, the control performance cannot be evaluated precisely during the design phase since temporal behaviors of the NCS are not taken into account. In this paper, we proposed a formalized design procedure for NCS development to consider simultaneously temporal and functional behaviors in the design phase. According to the suggested design procedure, we designed and evaluated a network-based traction control system.
