Abstract
In late years, the demands on Manual Transmission (hereinafter referred to as "MT") is rapidly increasing, which are "high capacity and high performance for high power engine" and " 6 speed for improvement of power performance and fuel consumption". Therefore, introduce new gear-trained compact 6 speed MT, which is installable on the main passenger car of transverse-mounted engine. Next 4 items is the aim of development.
(1) Realization of a 6 speed MT by innovative shortening of overall length that has the same length as the current 5 speed MT.
(2) Improved power transmission efficiency and improved fuel efficiency in vehicles by achieving a wide gear ratio.
(3) Achieved a smooth shift feeling without any rattle.
(4) Improved silence by optimizing shape gear tooth face and rigidity case.
