Abstract
The improvement of Diesel engine performance and emission are studied by using low thermal conductivity material coatings as TBC engines. Modeling results obtained from the TBC engines were compared with the conventional engines. The TBC engines had better fuel consumption and emission discussed. It was observed that the injection timing and injection duration influenced for the TBC engine performance and emission. Optimal injection timing was 100BTDC and duration of injection was 20-CA
