Abstract
Double Rotor Synchronous Generator with Permanent Magnet Excitation was used in the laboratory of JB Research Centre of Engine and Automotive Technology at the Czech Technical University in Prague as Power Splitting Device for the Powertrain of the experimental Electric Hybrid Vehicle Drive. The powertrain is in detail described. The function of the power splitting is explained. New method was developed how to measure the inductances in D-axis and Q-axis of the synchronous permanent magnet generator. Performed measurements on double rotor power splitter are discussed.
