This paper presents some aspects regarding the construction of Logan ECO HYBRID prototype. It is developed on the platform of Dacia Logan and is of parallel two shafts type organized in a motorized solution (E- 4WD). In order to reduce the CO2 emission in thermal mode, the standard engine K4M 1.6 l, 16 valves is fuelled with LPG. In order to test the vehicle prototype in the laboratory, a roller test bench was adapted for the road tests, it has been created a system for measuring the performances. The Logan ECO HYBRID prototype offers one novelty: LPG fuelling and E 4WD hybrid propulsion system. The EcoMatic Hybrid System was developed in such way that to be applied on the whole Dacia Logan family and can be extended at Dacia Sandero car.
