Vehicle emissions problems are not limited to the cities in highly industrialized countries. Regarding the pollution in urban areas, an important element is the percentage of the diesel engines vehicles from the traffic flows. The diesel urban transportation vehicles have a big impact over the chemical and noise pollution. In this paper is presented a study about the impact of urban transportation on the pollution in the historical centre of the Brasov city. There ware made traffic flow measurements, chemical pollution measurements and noise measurements.
