Abstract

This paper presents a modal analyze done for a camshaft. We started from the camshaft's physical model, creating the CAD model by dimensional measurements. We used as calculation method the FEM (Finite Element Method) and as software we used CATIA V5. The results obtained by calculus were then compared with the experimental data.
