Abstract
The paper presents the situation nowadays regarding the door to door public transportation. It also tries to find the answers to the next two questions: Which are the key factors that influence the door to door planning system for the near future and how can we provide a better door to door system for the near future? It’s also a review of the situation in public transportation nowadays and presents some similarities and differences regarding public transportation between two cities (Eindhoven and Timisoara) from two EU Countries (Holland and Romania) and also highlights the next steps in door to door mobility for the future.
