Abstract
Emissions of gaseous pollutants have significant effects on global warming, climate, environment, biodiversity, agriculture, human health and on life quality. The paper makes a comparative analysis of pollution levels with major gaseous pollutants during 2009 – 2011in Cluj-Napoca Contry, the main sources of pollution, factors that influence the pollution. The paper ends with proposals to improve environmental management in Cluj Napoca City, proposals that may be used by the city administration to reduce pollution.
