Abstract
The need to improve the climatic comfort within passenger vehicles is critical not only to the passengers´ comfort but also to their safety.
However, to make progress in this area, a good understanding of the air flow behaviour within the vehicle is required.
This paper offers the analysis of the air flow due to both windshield defrosters and Instrument Panel aerators both experimentally and by means of the numerical simulation.
Eventually, the integrity of the CFD model is verified by the data obtained experimentally.
