Abstract
Fluent 6 offer the possibility to realize an investigation of the intake process, using the standard k-e model. The research of the intake process wants to evidence the nature and level of thermogasodynamic losses. The objective of this analysis is to show the pressure evolution during the intake stoke in the inlet manifold from the cylinder head, in cylinder, the air heating from the walls, the air velocity (rate of flow), the kinetic energy of the fluid in turbulent motion (flow).
