Abstract
With the actual and the further economical growth, the mobility of the persons (given by vehicles) and the traffic density will increase dramatically. It´s not enough to make a modern infrastructure of modern roads and higways network without an performat road traffic management system, that have the possibilities to take the right decissions to assure a modern and safety traffic. Applications in road traffic management of the new fibre optical technology can be considered an succesfull option to achieve the above presented goal in traffic management and road traffic security.
