Abstract
In the paper are presented the results regarding the noise prediction for cities using SoundPLAN soft.
The complete procedure regarding the urban noise prediction are presented and the examples for the noise measuring and prediction in important cross streets from Cluj Napoca city.
The prediction results were compared with the measured values from similarly road traffic conditions. The differences regarding the prediction and the measured values were analyzed and some proposal was presented regarding the prediction reliable values.
