Abstract
The paper deals with the calculating method of production capacities and of the required areas for a service unit according to the number of vehicles that must be maintained and repairs yearly. Then the paper presents two programs of design. One program permits the design of the unit both in a bi-dimensional perspective and in a tri-dimensional one. The second program allows the optimization of the technological flow of maintenance and repair and the simulation of some very useful operations in the professional training of the unit staff.
