Abstract
A single -track vehicle is known either as bicycle or motorcycle. Although apparently simple, the dynamics of this kind of vehicle is rather complex. Many researches have been developed in this respect and the complex phenomenon is still under study. This paper attends in familiarizing the reader with the basics of this vehicle´s dynamics and offers a good start in further research. Simple dynamical models have been developed and the most important forces and momentum have been taken into account. They haven´t been yet compared with experimental results but these will be performed in the future, since our Dept. has an increasing interest in this respect. Best researchers in this field have been referred in the paper.
