The Analytical Study of the Dynamics for Vehicles with Lifting Wing

Abstract

A gaso-dynamic solution, for the normal force FN variation of the wheels vehicles and for the head resistance, is the lifting wing, which generates, in the relative movement with the speed v, the vertical force Fz.

In this paper is analyzed the dynamics of the vehicles which are using lifting wing for the normal force diminution.

This study is useful as an application for:

  • Road vehicles, with variable road conditions, with heavy weight and relative high speeds;
  • Vehicles which runs on an aeration ground, where is necessary a low ground pressure, with FN reduced;
  • Flying vehicles, who runs on the ground with increasing speed (in the vertical ascent stage).
