Abstract
The paper presents aspects regarding research realized at University of Pitesti for building an experimental Dacia Logan Hybrid vehicle. It is developed based on Logan MCV platform and it is equipped with EcoMatic Hybrid System II, organized as a serial- parallel hybrid with two shafts and torque addition. In order to lower the restrictions when adapting it on the standard vehicle Logan MCV and also for purposes of research flexibility, it is divided in two parts (motorized hybrid): the thermal equipment EcoMatic LPG fitted with a CVT, mounted in the front side and the electrical equipment EcoMatic ELECTRA featuring asynchronous electric motor fed with electrical energy from the traction battery and fitted with a constant ratio transmission, mounted in the rear side.
The research included in the EcoLOGIC PROGRAM is scheduled in 2006-2008 and it will be Logan Hybrid vehicle as an ensemble of five elementary EcoProjects.
