Abstract
Researches carried out by some Romanian specialist, several decades ago [4; 5] lead to some positive results regarding the differentiated cooling of spark ignition engine (SIE). Those results are the beginning of compression ignition engine (CIE) differentiated cooling idea. Thus, some CIE original differentiated cooling schemes are presented and a comparative study is carried out.
