Abstract

Abstract

Previous test results have indicated that the levels of longitudinal accelerations of truck driver´s seat and truck frame show significant differences. Therefore, a program of investigation of a domestic made truck, overall weight 19t, has been specified so as to provide the basis for comparison of parameters of major influence. A special attention has been paid to the analysis of process caused by the shunt variation of engine torque, being a basic cause of vibration in the frequency domain up to 5 Hz, in which humans are especially sensitive. The paper presents test results confirming a significant influence of vertical cab floor vibration on driver´s acceleration.
