Abstract

Abstract

The growing use of road vehicle trains motivates the study of the influence of theirs handling and stability properties on highway safety. In this paper different articulated vehicle combination are considered. A general vehicle simulation model is formed. The directional articulated vehicle dynamics is studied by computer simulation. The simulation results a typical vehicle combination are shown. On this base, the possibilities to application additional components of pasive and active control are discused.
