Abstract
The paper presents a theoretical and a experimental study of the influence of the numbers of the fuel spray upon the effective parameters of a usual direct injection diesel engine. Using the test bed and some specific devices we have measured the following parameters: effective power, effective specific consumption, hourar consumption and the cyclic fuel delivery. The aim of this paper was the optimisation of the numbers of fuel spray for increasing of the effective parameters of a usual direct injection diesel engine.Keywords: fuel spray, injector nozzle holes, effective parameters
