Abstract
The paper presents a study of the development direction in the domain of automotive fabrication, concerning the change in proportion of different materials used for manufacturing automotive parts. The authors done a study of the proportion evolution for these materials in the last forty years, considering the European automotive manufacturers. Also, it is done a study of the tendency in materials utilization for manufacturing a Romanian motorcar.
