Tests and investigations of basic characteristics of the gear-box on a test bench in laboratory conditions require planning of data-acquisition system which will measure two basic physical values: input-output torques and temperatures on specific points. Measurements of the two necessary values for gearbox reliability verification, required the concept of measuring system by which monitoring and data logging of measured values have been performed, which are necessary for further investigation and analysis of required data.
In this paper we have presented the gearbox test bench measuring system and its components: sensors, conditioners, data digitalization, processing and visualization.
