In this paper are presented the benefits of the biodiesel, the production and utilization circumstances in Romania, the institutionalization of production and utilization of biofuels activities. The paper contents aspects regarding the biodiesel, biogas, biofuels potential. There are also described processes and technologies of obtaining bioethanol by aerobe fermentation and the smallest fuel cell all over the world. Finally, the authors expose the advantages of biofuels utilization.
