Abstract:

In this paper is presented a new computational method based on the well-known conventional elastodynamics FEM equations of motion valid for 3D-beams and applied in the case of a half-car-model. The proposed method is called incremental FEM and does not require any additional effort for the formulation of the equations of motion, as it is the case with other popular methods.
