ABSTRACT
The double clutch gearbox introduced new breath in the car transmission design. Its smooth shifting, short length and good efficiency make this type a very strong competitor to the automatic gearboxes. Its high price is the reason that in low class or lower medium class of automobiles the automated gearboxes can keep their market share. The article is focused on automation of transmissions with gear shifting with the interruption of torque flow. This concept is cheap, keeping compact dimensions and high efficiency of the mechanical gearboxes. The disadvantage is less driving comfort. Therefore we worked on a special mechanism, which will allow to maximally shorten the shifting time and thus to improve the driving comfort.
