Abstract

The paper presents the simulation of the combustion process, which gives information about the influence factors on emissions, for the high-speed diesel engines. The suggested model is, for now, only theoretical (the combustion is considered complete, and without thermal losses), but it may be ameliorated and extended for a combustion chamber of any engine. The paper objectives are: - the establishment of the “simulated experiment” model and of the calculus algorithm; - the kinetics simulating of the combustion process, and of the burnt gases composition, in the hypothesis of isocor combustion process; - the numerical analysis of the influences of certain factors upon the mixture forming and combustion processes (the mixture qualitative composition, the volumetric ratio, the compression politropic exponent, the spraying quality, the diffusion constant, the burning delay period).
