Abstract:
Under the conditions of severe competition the customers are facing the offers of numerous passenger car models. Some models are having very short lifetime, but the other successful models last for several generations being subjected to specific redesigning. Zastava as the only domestic manufacturer, thanks to granted FIAT license and several other component licenses, keeps the high local market share in spite of the fact that during the past 16 years it hasn’t placed any new model, but due to well known reasons it decided to redesign the existing models, meeting ECE Regulations and hoping that its position is to be solved in cooperation with some of the world leading manufacturers, as already happened to several countries of the East Europe.
