Abstract

In this study we investigated the acoustic sound radiated from a blunted body using LES. This LES code originally had been developed in I.I.S., University of Tokyo and distributed as free software named LES-BFC. LES is a powerfull tool for the calculation of law Much number flow to quantitative estimation of sound noises. We studied the sounds generated by the flow around a circular cylinder with Smagorinsky and Dynamic SGS model, and around the body of simplified door mirror.
