A Solid Finite Element Combination Model and Analysis of Diesel Engine Cylinder Liner

Abstract

In this paper, the author builds three-dimensional model of combination of cylinder liner. The finite element model described in the article consists of cylinder head, cylinder head gasket, and cylinder liner, engine block, bolt and other engine mounting parts. In this model, elastic contact between connect parts is accounted and the bolt screwing force is simulated by temperature method. Using such model of combination, supporting surface angle of a diesel cylinder liner is optimized. The calculated result is consistent with the test value. The result shows that this analysis model is more practical and possesses high computation accuracy.
