Abstract

In this paper, applied with Non-gaussian closure, effects of the nonlinear damping of shock absorber on the root-mean square of auto-body vibration, dynamic road between wheel and ground, and the passing-through frequency of suspension, under the road spectrum random excitation, are analyzed by calculation. Compa rison between the calculations and the proof tests shows that both results of the calculation and the conclusions are correct.
