Abstract
In this paper, the SAE J1939 communication protocol has been implemented in a heavy-duty truck with a CAN controller of microcomputer Intel 87C196CA hardware. With J1939 protocol, the identification bit of messages for ABS controller and transmission controller is designed. The communication process for them is given.
