Abstract
The requirements for the safety of automobiles and motorcycles are becoming higher and higher along with the coming of the new century, which manifests mainly in following aspects:
Intellectualization of braking system (including close loop controlled ABS); Increasing the reliability of the braking system, if the power assistant system is not used; The hand brake in passenger car is used as parking and urgent braking systems concurently; Disk brake is widely used in trucks. The requirements mentioned above give a challenge to us- the automobile and motorcycle engineers.
