Abstract
Diagnosing of autobody assembly line is important to improve welding quality and make sure fault position ,among those the m ost difficult work is how to establish coordinate system of autobody assembly line when measuring. This paper discusses application of relay, translation and plane extending in the condition of complex space and limit of range of Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM), and introduces theory and application of aided tools such as translation height ruler and benchmark limit positioning ruler.
