Abstract

The performance of Anti-lock Brake System is mainly depended on how accurate the system could fluctuate the pressure of brake fluid in order to keep the certain percentage slip of tires. This research developed elastic component to consistently fluctuate the pressure of brake fluid, and the control system of ABS just to control the fluctuation of pressure. The results show that the tire slip could be kept at desirable range, and stopping distance of vehicle could be improved .

Directional stability of vehicle turning while braking was improved significantly.
